Q. Please share about yourself and your story to enter in blogging?

Ans: It all started out when I discovered a talent to write poetry, while attending Long Beach Job Corps in California. The year was 2000 and I was only 20 years old, with a strong passion to change lives along with my own. Seeing the position that some people were in and attitudes they had made me want to sit down that day and write something motivational. I wrote a few motivational poems and Job Corps staff made me a deal to publish my writings in their weekly school bulletin. This bulletin would be delivered to both boys and girls dorms on Wednesday's, and RA's (Residential Advisors) would read from the bulletin.

Fast forward: in 2007, I published a book by the name of Cypher Key. Cypher Key is a book of esoteric poetry, or spiritual poetry filled with universal principles. From there, I launched a website by the name of adupchurchbooks.com and this website's purpose was to help sell my newly published book, and it also had a blogging software built into it and I began blogging as well. The theme for my topics remained the same as the book, and still till this day-that is spiritual philosophy. In 2012, I started a business by the name of Creative Sol Vibrations. In the beginning, I was the only writer for our website until I opened up the platform to welcome in guest bloggers and we grew from there.
Creative Sol Vibrations mission statement:

Q. How the idea to make your own blog came in your mind? How you found the right people to develop it and what big obstacles you faced?

Ans: The idea came after I published my book Cypher Key. After publishing this book, I felt there was more I needed to do with my writing talent. My brother Jamar has been a big help with giving me the platform to start blogging. As mentioned prior, I began blogging on adupchurchbooks.com which is now forwarded to creativesolvibrations. I've written several pieces on this software, some I had no idea what happened to them while others were revised and given to creativesolvibrations. I've ran into lots of obstacles, enough to make me want give up the whole blogging idea. But I realized something. I realized that I was blogging in order to share my thoughts, ideas, and perceptions with the world to inspire others.

Website crashing, hacks, not having enough capitol, finding writers, monetization and more were all obstacles to me. I've had to teach myself a lot of things when it came to running a website. I've invested about $1500 already in the business and some of that money went into mistakes. We're currently working on speeding up the website more, which is a complete different obstacle but it will get done. Our friend Nikhil Sharma who resides in India has been helping us out tremendously with website developments. Thank you, Nikhil. :)

Q. Can blogging really change someone`s life?

Ans: Yes! Blogging can definitely change someone's life, especially after noticing your first couple of visitors. I remember when first starting out, I looked at my stats and said: "Wow! 10 people visited today." Haha!

I'm pretty sure other bloggers can relate to not only blogging for themselves, but also to be helpful in ways to others. What's special about blogging is if you love it, have time for it, you can make a living out of it but it takes a lot of work and passion. It's definitely a life changer if you're in it for the right reasons and to offer value to others in one way or another.

Q.  What are your favorite Internet marketing tools?

Ans: I use Hootsuite just about everyday. For the past 2 years I've used Hootsuite's service almost daily in conjunction with Triberr. So, Hootsuite is definitely one of my favorites. Another one of my favorite tools is Google Analytics. Just recently I started using Google Analytics more often, and it is so vast with details and reports. From these reports, I am now able to try different methods with a clearer goal in mind everytime. Let's not forget Bitly, which is the tool that has allowed us make our own custom shortlinks.

Q. What is your daily schedule? And how do you maintain your tasks?

Ans: I wake up at 5am every morning, with the help of my newly born daughter. :)

Because I receive new unpublished articles on a daily basis, I usually get those ready for publishing starting at 9am. After I'm done with that, I am off to Triberr to share my tribemates posts to Twitter. After I've completed my Triberr task for the day, I am off to publish new posts and then to promoting those articles. Each article takes about 45 minutes to an hour to promote on social media and other outlets. I research different ideas, look at my site analytics. By the time all of this is over, I tend to my daughter.

I maintain my tasks by sticking to routine and love. The simple fact is that I love what I do, and loving what I do is routine.

Q. Blogging have different definition for different person. What is it for you?

Ans: Blogging for me is an opportunity to reach others who may have an interest in my words and ideas. There are also people who are naturally introverts, but their fingers know nothing of this issue. In fact, some people communicate a lot more effectively through written words and this is where blogging comes into play. Blogging has allowed me to get my voice or words heard and meet new friends with similar goals. Through allowing others to guest blog for us at Creative Sol Vibrations, I've met some very wonderful people. I can only see things getting much better in time.

Q. Which are your favorite blogs?

Ans: The sites listed are some of my favorite blogs, due to them adding so much value to my own life: www.ankushchauhan.com, www.richardcassaro.com www.thoughtsonlifeandlove.com, www.inneractivist.com. I'm know there are many more out there that i would also call my favorites, but I've just been so busy, so please forgive me. :)

    Q.  How much time do you spend on social media promotion and SEO of your blog?

Ans: Hmm! I spend about 1 hour a day making sure new blog post's have correct keywords and other seo details. This is mandatory before promoting articles, for me. After these requirements are taken care of, then i proceed to promote the articles on social media. Social media promotion can take me anywhere from 1 - 2 hours or more sometimes depending on how many articles were published in that day.

    Q. How much time do you spend for blogging daily?

Ans: I don't really blog that much nowadays because I am the webmaster, promoter, marketer and more for our brand, and all of this is time consuming. I'm always promoting our guest writer's articles and researching new strategies, so with all of my titles I'm left with not much time to blog.

    Q.  Finally, I would love to have your message for my readers and any suggestions for newbies?

Ans: We at Creative Sol Vibrations would like to thank you for your time in reading this interview and hoping you enjoyed it. Our goal is to provide value to our readers and we will stay true to this as we've always have. Due to our brand's nature, we are always seeking out new writers who can make people think and help change the way we perceive things as a humanity. We would like to one day be the leaders in global thought change, because we do realize this is very needed in our world today.
