You can easily customize your ads to match your blog background and ad text link ads or 468*60 between post.
Placement targeting :
This is what each blogger should do. When you create channel you have option to add more details and put in market by placement targeting option. This will increase ad value and competition of your site. To enable it login to Adsense > "My Ads" > Custom > Custom Channels. Add details and tick on placement targeting.
Adsense Blacklist URL`s :
You can block those advertisers who pay less. By blocking those you can increase revenue as your ad space is available for other advertisers.
Category Blocking :
You can easily use Category blocking feature. Check all categories and which category performing worse you can block them.
Adsense for Youtube :
If you also want to monetize your videos on youtube than you can monetize them wit Youtube publisher program.
