In this series of new features, now Facebook has added a new feature for you to follow nearby events hosted by pages you like.

If you don`t want to miss local marketing meetup? Want to know when favorite speakers is coming in your area? You just need to subscribe to the events section of Facebook page you have liked.
Se it is really easy to subscribe event section of any facebook page.
Once you have subscribed to events section then you will get alerted everytime if any event is being held in your local area.
It is a good feature to get notified even when you busy and don`t have to time to visit the page..
It is not mandatory, it is just an option for your benefit. It` your decision if you want to subscribe event or not as it don`t get subscribe by default. This save you from unnecessary automatic notifications.
Already many tech blogs are using this new feature, but now it`s also available to any Facebook page hosting events.
