Android is holding a strong position with more than one billion active monthly users. iOS has half of the users and Android has 470 million users.
“Return to broadcast feature” also launched with Periscope’s Android launch. It allows you to jump back into a video stream. You can share live streams from your phone.

In 2015 Twitter acquired Periscope for $100 million. This acquisition reflects the micro-blogging website Twitter wants to build a control with video capabilities.
Periscope is already popular with big brands such asDKNY, Mountain Dew, Spotify and Red Bull.
