Today I am going to take you through the process of configuring a WordPress which I was using without Facebook app id and Secret key. This plugin is Facebook Album embed and even after embedding my photo album from Facebook page, it was showing following error:

How to create a Facebook APP and get App ID and Secret Key:
You need not to be a coder or programmer to create Facebook app. It is just simple. So if you are going to configure any app which requires Facebook id and secret code or you are developing your own facebook app, then this tutorial is going to help you.Also See : Facebook Introduces New App Riff
- Go to Facebook developers page
- Click on "create a new app"
- Select the type of app, for WordPress use Website.
- Enter name for your app.
How to create App ID
- Create new Facebook App Id.
- Select the category.
- Click on the "Create app ID".
- Click on Skip
- Now you will see your created App page
- Here you can get Facebook app id and secret key.
How to Retrieve Facebook secret Key
- Click on show
- Enter your Facebook account password
- You will see the App secret key.
- Copy and paste App ID and App secret key in plugin.
