I like this tool as Google Web Designer is not a web based tool. It is completely standalone software for both Mac and Windows platforms. GWD also known as Google Web Designer is more like WYSIWYG “What You See Is What You Get” editor. You just need to place images and arrange those images and let it create HTML and CSS code itself. GWD was launched last year.
I recommend this tool as it helps you to create HTML 5 Adverts. WYSIWYG editors have a steeper learning curve and results not fit for all browsers. But GWD is an exception as it is based on HTML 5 and CSS 3 and offers cross browser support.
I have been using this tool. you just need to spend a little time to get something extra.

I have used this tool and from my experience I can say that it is no everything for a web designer. But it allows you to edit webpages, still it lacks text content creation feature.
GWD is great for creating banners and animation ads. So, I call it "Google Ad Designer".
