Too many ads are never suitable for user-experience. Bad user experience led to the loss of organic ranking.

Nd, it is true. My sites have been ranking well even when I am not using Adsense on many of them. Google is not against content monetization, yet it should not bother visitors.

Too many ads on your platform can negatively impact your ranking.

Accept Google AdSense's terms of service and policies when using Ad Intents.

Publishers can easily enable or disable the Ads Intent format in AdSense.

• Go to AdSense and click on "Auto Ads."
• Click on "Intent-drive formats."
• Enable or disable "ad intent anchors" or "ad intent links.

How Ad Intents Work?

Ad Intents work in two ways:

• It converts existing text into links.
• It places anchors at the bottom of the page.

How to Track the Ad Intents Performance?

• Open the "Reports" page.
• Go to custom report and use "Ad Format."
• click on "Edit" metrics.
• Choose "Funnel" metrics to analyze the performance of Ad Intents.

AdSense Publisher's Reaction:

AdSense publishers have two views about Ad Intents. Some publishers find it helpful to use Ad Intents, while others have issues with this ad format.

The backlash is the result of publishers' worry that Ad Intent can drive visitors out of their websites. It can cause issues with regular traffic.

Ginny Marvin explained that Ad Intent is optional for publishers. Publishers can choose to opt-out.

There was a time when I was working as millions of other people these days. Blogging has entitled me to so many benefits that I was not able to gain in any job, such as;

There was a time when my life was running from home to office and office to the house. I was working for long hours and still have to listen to many things. Even when I was a top performer in office, it never helped me gain much. Blogging has helped me not only to be my boss and live a boss-free life.

For an ordinary person, it is not easy to start a business. Usually, the company needs a lot of investment and knowledge.

But blogging has helped me to establish my own blogging business. With just little investment of around 100 dollars, a person can start blogging.

Complete freedom:

If you work in an office or even in a business, you can never feel complete freedom as you have to work every day to earn. But in blogging, you can make money while sleeping.

Blogging has helped to overcome the worries of money. It has made me earn the freedom to work from anywhere I want and whenever I want.

Now I make money blogging, even when I work 30 minutes.

Blogging has changed my identity. It has turned me from an employee to an entrepreneur. I have discovered the way to earn not just money but name and fame also.

Now you know me as a professional blogger.

I start my day with blogging and sleep after checking my blog status.

Adsense was my life, why and how?

We all work for money.

When a newbie thinks of monetizing his blog the very first thing he dreams about is getting Adsense approval.

Why?

Adsense is the best and high paying contextual ad network. It is the network that pays a blogger more than any system if utilized correctly.

Adsense has helped blogger who is making millions of dollars every month.

But, you can only make good money with Adsense when you have a tremendous amount of traffic with the people who click on your ads.

At the beginning of my blogging journey, I was genuinely in love with Google Adsense.

Google Adsense was the network that paid me the very first check of $553.

I have made almost 100k in 4 months with Adsense. I have made that much because the 90% of my site traffic was from the USA. But Adsense started paying less in Asian countries.

Every year bloggers are facing a decrease in Adsense earning even when the traffic is same.

Adsense was my most favorite girlfriend, but soon I realized that it is not enough for me.

In 2015, I broke up with Adsense on my main site.

I am still using Adsense on my other blogs, but definitely, I do not love it and cannot consider it my girlfriend.

Affiliate Marketing is my wife, How and Why?

At the beginning of 2014, I started discovering other ways to monetize my blogs.

I have checked many Adsense alternatives and even used Bing Ads.

One day I learned word affiliate marketing and started digging for more.

Soon I understood that Affiliate marketing is the only solution to my broken heart.

I have chased affiliate marketing on many sites and learned many things.

It was the time when I realized that I should approach Affiliate Marketing.

I joined Shareasale, Clickbank, and CJ.

Joined some affiliate programs and within three months my Affiliate earning has crossed my earning from Adsense.

I finally committed myself to Affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is like the right wife that stays with me even in the hard times. It works for me and cares about me even when I am sleeping.

It was affiliate marketing that makes me achieve financial freedom with the help of blogging.

Now I am a man of my own life.

I live as I want, work as much as I want, whenever I want and from wherever I want.

I am earning money, but now I am not chasing it because my life (Blogging) and my wife (affiliate marketing) bringing cash to me.

And not just the money but I have made some 100’s of quality friends such as Ryan Biddulph, Donna Merrill, Janice Wald, Cori Ramos and more.

What I am doing these days:

Now I am living my blogging life happily with my wife affiliate marketing in a way that most people just dream.

I now just teach people how to make their life better with the help or internet and how to make money online but also counting all the blessings that I am getting from my readers, fans, and followers.

I always loved the idea to become a mentor and blogging has helped me to become one. I am more than satisfied when I see that my efforts are assisting the millions to make their way in the online world and boost their career.

AdSense is Changing the Publisher Revenue Share Structure of Payment

AdSense is changing publisher revenue share structure from pay-per-click to pay-per-impression.

Google launched AdSense 20 years ago, and since then, it has become a popular way to monetize blogs and websites. Traditionally, AdSense was paying on the basis of clicks. But it is going to change now.

After 20 years of its launch, AdSense has decided to switch from pay-per-click to pay-per-impression.

With this announcement, it is now sure that most of the publishers will receive similar payments for the number of impressions received.

Google AdSense's new payment system will go live in 2024.

AdSense blog post shows that 2 changes are coming:

• Change in Revenue Share Structure
• Change from Pay-per-click to pay-per-impression.

The published will earn 68% of revenue from the Google AdSense publisher program.

Google has also announced that it will take 15% of the advertiser fee. The rest, 85%, will get to the AdSense. Then Google will take 20% from AdSense, and the rest of the revenue will be sent to the publisher.

For example, if an advertiser is spending $1, then Google will cut 0.15 cents, and the rest will go to AdSense. Then AdSense will cut 17 cents, and the remaining revenue of 68 cents will go to the publisher.

Google AdSense has said that the new AdSense pay structure will not affect the number of ads and the publisher websites.

Publishers with Google AdSense accounts have started a discussion on WebmasterWorld about the upcoming changes to the Google AdSense program.

Opinion: Wait

Some publishers are waiting before making any comment about the new AdSense policies. They want to see what happens after the new AdSense revenue share structure is applied.

Opinion: Bad for Advertisers and Publishers

Some publishers were discussing that pay-per-impression will make publishers put more ads on every page to generate more impressions. This won't be good for user experience.

Publishers may also stop worrying about the content quality as they are not making the visitor click the ad anymore.

Without a click, there will not be any benefit for the advertiser.

Opinion: Good for Publishers

Someone shared that it will be good for Google, as, like every other company, Google wants to make more money.

But, it will also be beneficial for publishers as sometimes ads don't get clicked. But in the pay-per-impression method, publishers will still get paid for displaying ads.

AdSense publishers are always keeping a keen eye on changes in AdSense policies and programs. Google's blog post has explained in detail the new payment structure for AdSense publishers.
